Superfood Smoothies for Spring

Fancy one of the easiest meals you can throw together? How about one with anti-aging, immune-boosting, fat-busting properties? The superfoods in these recipes prove that food really IS medicine.

Smoothie combinations are literally endless, and with a little creativity it’s not difficult to maximize bang for your buck. Take these delicious blends for a whirl to boost your glow, help muscle recovery, stimulate immunity, cleanse toxins, and much more. All you need are a blender, a few key ingredients, and about five minutes.

The Glow

Glow from the inside out with these anti-inflammatory, immune boosting, collagen pumping ingredients.

  • 1/2 Mango

  • 1/2 Banana

  • Generous handful of Sprouts (broccoli, pea, or whatever is freshest)

  • 1/2 cup Coconut Milk

  • 1 tablespoon Hemp

  • Pinch Turmeric

  • Pinch Cinnamon

  • Water to desired thickness


Matcha Monster

All-natural stimulant, great for heart health, kick-starts metabolism, protein boost.

  • 1/2 Banana

  • 1/2 cup Blueberries

  • 1 cup Spinach

  • 1 cup Almond, Soy, or Cashew milk

  • 2 tablespoons Almond butter

  • 1 teaspoon Matcha Tea

  • 1 teaspoon Chia Seeds

  • Water to desired thickness


Red Velvet

A powerhouse in a cup: detoxifying, heightens immunity, good for digestion, with a chaser of heart and brain protective Omega 3s.

  • 1/2 cup Beets, shredded (use a regular carrot shredder and raw beets)

  • 1/2 cup Raspberries

  • 1/2 cup Plain Kefir

  • 1 cup Soy Milk

  • Handful of Fresh Basil or Mint

  • 1 teaspoon Chia Seeds

  • 1 teaspoon Hemp Seeds

  • Water to desired thickness


Guilt-Free Dessert

100% sugar free and 100% good for you!

  • 1 Banana

  • 3-4 Pitted Dates

  • Handful of Cashews

  • 1 cup Almond or Coconut Milk

  • 1/2 cup Kefir

  • 1 tablespoon Raw Cocoa Nibs

  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Seeds


Super Greens

Sometimes you just need to hedge your bets and cram as many nutrients into a glass as possible. This is the smoothie for that time! Antioxidant, Anti-Inflammatory, Anti-Carcinogenic.

  • 1 cup Kale, de-stemmed

  • Handful Lentil Sprouts or fresh sprouts of your choice

  • 1/2 cup Cucumber

  • 1/2 Avocado, pitted

  • 1/2 Lemon, squeezed

  • Pinch of Fresh Basil

  • Pinch of Turmeric

  • 1 cup Nut Milk of your choice
